Our story

PK Homestead LLC was established in 2025, but a sourdough micro-bakery isn’t new around here. After a successful micro-bakery previously in Lincoln, Nebraska, Phillip and Kayleigh packed their bags for Colorado. It’s an honor to share our handcrafted and baked goods with our community in the Colorado Springs area.

We have a philosophy of balance—a balance of old techniques and new ones, of different ingredients and flavors, of passion and skill and of work life balance.

By day, Phillip is an electrician and Kayleigh is a project manager. By evenings, we are found to be testing new recipes, handcrafting our products in small batches, and lifting the barbell. On weekends, we are most likely to be found outdoors, seeking a new adventure and taking in all that Colorado has to offer.

Married in September 2024, and a lifetime to go, we are so happy you’re here to share this life with.
